"Saint Dymphma", named after the patron saint of outsiders, is the band's follow-up to the acclaimed "God's Money". They've taken an even dancier, inclusive direction that continues to emphasize the ritualistic elements of their music while upping the transcendent aspects. The production is pristine cinematic headphone candy with 70's Eno intricacy and 00's Timbaland immediacy that will hold your attention while Gang Gang Dance continue to push things forward.

Customer Rating: Summary: Brilliant Comment: Of some CDs I listen in 2008, Saint Dympna by Gang Gang Dance is one of brilliant one. Hope to see more review from them.
Customer Rating: Summary: i really wanted this new ggd release to deliver... Comment: and saint dymphna is a decent album. the song lengths are shorter and the compositions are more condensed so you basically get more bang for your buck, though the ggd style shines through in all its new age world breakbeat twitter rock glory. a guest vocalist appears on 'princes', a grime dancehall guy which is ok, but there are some quieter, slower moments on the album, although the classic ggd flourishes have always been the attraction for me. this album provides something new from ggd that is familiar but developed in a good direction. also try 'gods money' and 'revival of the $hittest' if you can find it.
