Comfort and maneuverability are key elements of winter performance and Tubbs tackles both concerns with the design of the bindings used in their snowshoes. Venture 25 (2006/2007) snowshoes now utilize the Tubbs ReAct Binding System built on a fully-rotating toe cord. The single pivot of the ReActBinding System provides quick and easy exit and entry. Rigid Control Wings found on both the medial and lateral sides of the binding keep your boot centered in the harness for maximum responsiveness. A Cinch Pull strap/release and an adjustable dual pull strap system enhance fit and provide control. The rotating flexibility of the toe cord allows your boot to pivot independently of the frame of the Venture 25 (2006/2007), maximizing the penetration of the crampon in the snow base. The rotation also enables the tail to drop away from the binding as you hike, effectively shedding snow, reducing resistance and minimizing the fatigue associated with carrying the unnecessary weight of clinging snow. The tapered frame of each Venture 25 (2006/2007) snowshoe is constructed of sturdy 6000 series aluminum.
