The liter is actually not too big- I'd recommend it if you're using it daily in a backpack. More water, and it's still relatively small and light. Enjoy! It's a pretty convenient size, holds a good amount of water. Only complaint is the metal dents very easily. They could have put a protective plastic layer on the outside or something to make it more durable, especially seeing as it cost $20.
