Customer Rating: Summary: Great gift for Laker fan Comment: I bought this for my boyfriend, who is a big Laker fan, and he loved it!
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent Lakers Video Comment: Excellent video on the history of the Lakers and the full playback of key playoff games is great.
Customer Rating: Summary: Missing some games Comment: Where are Game 5 of the 2004 Finals, Game 4 of the 2008 Finals and, of course, Game 6 of the 2008 Finals? That would give us a true picture of this "dynasty". And I'm not even mentioning all the choke jobs from the 60s and 70s.
BTW, the Lakers set the record for the most LOSSES in the Championship round of all the 4 major prof. sports.
Time to "simmah down now" Laker fans!

Overall a great dvd collection for any serious fan of the Lakers. Some games aren't shown in their entirety which is disappointing, but the quality is very good. Don't throw away those classic full game recordings from your collection just yet, but you can chuck those 30 minute highlight videos because they're all in here. I would've loved to see some more early Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Laker years of 1976-1979, including Kermit Washington's punch and Kareem's decking of Kent Benson. These seasons are just about forgotten as showtime seemed to erase them from existance. 5 stars overall.
