Summary: Best way to mount your bag
Comment: Absolutely the best way to mount your bag. I've had the single joist hangers come loose or tear out of the wood. No chance on that happening with this. If it sounds like your house is coming down as the other reviewer mentioned (which will happen with any joist mount) try using a heavy bag spring, available on Amazon as well. It will really help isolate the bag from the floor above you. The spring will also lessen the chance of ripping your heavy bag at the chain tabs.

Comment: Rather than trying to screw an eye hook into a rafter, which evntually loosens and allows the bag to fall at the most unopportune time, try this rafter hanger. The best device invented. They work and work very well.

Summary: Product is solid but it rocks your house
Comment: I hate to rate this item poorly but it didn't work well for me. I installed it in my basement. It's hooked between two joists that are right under my living room floor, everytime I hit the heavy bag the living room sounds like someone is taking the place down. Solid product for the right location.
