Comment: Most comfortable Asics volleyball shoe according to the D1 volleyball players who use it here. It really is too bad that it has been discontinued.

Summary: Asics Gel - great purchase
Comment: I purchased the shoes one week before my volleyball tournament and was little bit worried that I will need little bit more time to break them in before playing 7 hours non-stop game. I was amazed how soft and comfortable these shoes were the first time I put them on - like I had them for ever. The fit around the heel area is not loose = not allowing the heal to go up and down which is great especially for me with skinny feet. The front is little bit more roomy but again I have very skinny feet so should not be a problem for others.
The performance is great, nicely balanced and cushioned so even when playing on a very hard surface the impact on joints and spine is minimal.
Design is nice for volleyball shoes even I know that running shoes looks much sexier on women :-) LOL.

Summary: Worst Asics Ever
Comment: I have always purchased Asics volleyball sneakers in the past, and this year was no different. However, I have been unable to break in the Sensei. This sneaker is so uncomfortable. The sneaker digs into the side of my right foot, and I am not the only one that has had this problem. My husband purchased the men's sensei, and I have two other friends that purchased the sensei. All have the same issue with the sneaker digging into the side of the right foot in the same location. I cannot believe that I paid over $100 for a volleyball sneaker that is so uncomfortable. This shoe is garbage. Don't waste your money!

Comment: These shoes are perfect in every single way! They are attractive ( if not a little flashy!), comfortable, and are everything that Asics promised them to be. I recommend that you try on a pair of Asics before ordering because they tend to run a half-size to full size smaller than your regular size. These are prefect for the serious volleyball athlete.
