Comment: My boyfriend goes to see their show every year and was going to take me, but I had to work...I would of made other arrangements if I would of known how awesome this band is and the show itself! So, I bought him the CD for Xmas because he enjoys the show so much....now I know why, after listening to the CD! We have not watched the DVD yet, but I cannot see how we will be disappointed...I want to get the whole collection evenually, I would say this is a good start and the price is right. I loved the CD and will never miss a show EVER...this music is awesome rock Xmas music for all to enjoy...it is not limited to any age...in the long run my boyfriend gave me the gift of introducing me to excellent music for the Holidays! I am going to look into more of their work and see what they have outside of Holiday Season, don't want to wait a another year if they have some great stuff laid down we can listen to now! Very happy with purchase!!!!! Nice packaging too...

Summary: Good Music and Good Show for Christmas
Comment: The Trans Siberian Orchestra has a unique sound and uses this sound with Christmas time music to produce very pleasant music that can be enjoyed by itself (while paying attention to the music) or as interesting background for parties, dinners or other social gatherings during the Christmas season. The video provides an highly enjoyable and unique Christmas show by telling a story using the music. This is a very worthwhile purchase.

Summary: Christmas Spirit in Audio
Comment: A very good CD, but only for one time of the year. My one complaint is that though there are many songs with this compilation album, some songs are just rehashes of the other. I expected to be floored by full rock orchestra, instead I was only wooed by a lot of regular orchestra.
All in all, I suppose the live one would be better, be it was still ok.

Summary: Very happy I bought the box set
Comment: I bought this box set after hearing only a few of the really popular TSO tracks on the local radio station that turns to Christmas only music after Thanksgiving. I figured if I bought a 3 cd set then I'd likely be set for life. With the amount of tracks on these discs I really am.
I did not spend a whole lot of time reading the product description as I ordered it in a spare 5 minutes at work and I was very surprised when I found that there is a DVD in this set also.
Having not known much about TSO before, (I know, where have I been the last few years?) I can happily say that I can now tolerate Christmas music again with TSO's fusion of rocking guitar and classical orchestration, there were only so many times I could hear someone sing "Happy Holidays...Happy Holidays...Happy Holidays."
This is a great addition to my wife's extensive and very worn out Christmas CD collection.
Product packaging and design is very nice and there is a really nice printed booklet included.
Also, kudos to Amazon for getting this to me only 3 days after ordering this with free super saver shipping during the mad Christmas rush!
