Comment: Expertly edited and organized by Charlie Greene (now retired but formerly the baseball coach for Miami-Dade Community College with a career record of 1,047-548 and a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame), "Gold Glove Baseball" is an illustrated instruction guide for aspiring ball players with an emphasis on position skills, team tactics, practice drills, and signals. In addition to Charlie Greene, the contributors include an all-star line up of college and university baseball coaches: Bob Bennet (1,302-759-4); Ed Flaherty (594-2550-3); Davey Johnson (hired as a consultant to the team general manager of the Washington nations in June 2006); Ken Knutson (461-295-2); Carroll Land (Director of Athletics at Point Loma Nazarene University); Mike Maack (Head Coach of the new Plano Blue Sox); Rich Maloney (Head Baseball Coach at the University of Michigan); Jim Penders (Head Baseball Coach for the University of Connecticut); Sam Piraro (the winningest baseball coach in the history of San Jose State University); Steve Smith (Head Coach of Baylor University's baseball program); Scott Stricklin (Head Baseball Coach at Kent State University); and Jerry Weinstein (831-208-12).
