Comment: This is a fun book to teach a child about birthdays.
There is a space to put a picture from their first birthday party and to list who was at the party and gifts he/she received. Cute book, but very short.

Comment: Very basic, but my 1 year old loves it. Perfectly age-appropriate, with big bright colors and only a few words per page, just what she loves right now. She doesn't have the patience for anything more involved, and loves to just flip the pages and point to the pictures. The way I understand it, each of these books gets a little more involved with each age, which is wonderful. I will be sure to keep collecting them for her birthdays.

Comment: I bought this for my niece on her first birthday. Simple story, but has an area were you can write who was at the party and 2 pictures can be added. I thought this is a fun way for her to look back at her first birthday. I'm planning on her getting the other birthday books (2,3 & 4).
