For years I used similar stools but they had nylon or canvas seats. After two or three years, they always wore out because I used them everyday. I think that this one will never wear out and I will have it until I retire. It's lighter than the other stools. It folds flat and stores better. The others tipped over more easily and would roll around on the floor because the legs were round. I am very pleased with it and the price was very reasonable.
