Comment: I bought one ball for use after getting introduced to the idea by a physical therapist, and my husband liked it and kept borrowing it, so we bought him one too, in a bigger size. The ball is good quality, feels stable and safe, and holds air for long periods of time - unlike other manufacturers we have tried. The pump is easy to use, too. Both DVDs that come with the ball are introductory; they sample workouts from longer, more in-depth videos and should not be understood to be complete stability ball workouts. Folks who want a more comprehensive workout need to buy different videos for that, such as "Core Cross Train Balance Ball" by the same great instructor, Tanja Djelevic, or "Stott Pilates Stability Ball Core Balance."

Summary: Misleading packaging & sexist "cautions"
Comment: I agree with other reviewers that the setting is pretty, the instructor decent, and the ball & exercise band work well for their purpose.
That said:
The package I got came with 2 DVDs. One was titled "2 Total-Body Workouts with Beginner to Advanced Instruction." There was only one workout. Not two. That's called a big fat lie. That said, the one workout on the DVD was good for legs, decent for arms and abs. The arms moves could have used a lot more reps though--one set of 8 bicep curls with the stretch band does not a workout make. (And don't tell me that the 8 "curls" with the balance ball for "weight" count, either) This workout also seriously lacked recommendations for how to make the movements more challenging, or any word about safety, proper form, alignment, etc.
The second DVD was titled "Balanceball bonus workout". I tried the stretching routine and about died of boredom within 2 minutes--it might possibly challenge my 93 year old grandmother. But later I gave it another chance and this time glanced at the disclaimers at the beginning of the DVD. It was then I noticed this little gem: "Menstruating women should not attempt inverted poses, backbends, or vigorous standing positions." EXCUSE ME??? When was this written, 1842?? Is Gaiam going to tell all our female Olympic athletes that if they happen to be bleeding that day, they have to sit out??? Or has this supposedly progressive, eco-friendly, new age modern hippie company never heard of a friggin tampon???
Frankly, unless someone from the company can provide me legitimate medical evidence to back up this malarky, I cannot endorse the product or the company to anyone.

Summary: Good for my needs
Comment: I actually bought this do use with another exercise DVD other than the ones it comes with and it does the job. It was easy to inflate and doesn't smell like I read on other reviews of other balls. I chose to order this one over others because for the price, it was worth getting the additional DVD's than just a ball.

Summary: Ball in Kit was Wrong Size
Comment: I do not know if this is a good workout or not as the ball is WAY too small for me to use. I purchased the kit according to the suggested height guidelines. This size ball is supposedly for people to a height of 5'11". I am 5'8" but the ball was so small that my knees were up in the air, precluding me from the nice right angle that is modeled. I was uncomfortable and couldn't do the exercises properly because the ball was too small. Unfortunatley, I had the kit for 4 months before I opened it so the opportunity to exchange the kit has passed. I am perturbed that I will have to buy another ball in a larger size in order to see if the program will work for me. My advice -- don't believe the size recommendation and try it our IMMEDIATELY if you do purchase so you can return it if necessary.

Comment: The ball was easy to inflate with the hand pump... it took about 15 minutes. I have had the ball over a month now and it does hold air very well.
