Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect if your bag is black Comment: They deserve 5 stars only if they didn't leave black stains on my red punching bag
Customer Rating: Summary: wish I could choose 0 stars Comment: These gloves are totally worthless. They are thinner than oven mitts! A pair of these came free with my speed bag. I put them away so one of my kids won't use them by mistake and get hurt.
Customer Rating: Summary: Rough + Tough Comment: As mentioned by other reviewers, these gloves offer little padding. This is not really a bad thing. Use a pair of wraps underneath these to provide some extra support.
The lack of padding gives you a good feel of impact. Your hands will hurt a little at first, but as you progress, this is not an issue.
Customer Rating: Summary: Steven's 2 cents Comment: I use these gloves for a water filled Heavy bag. The gloves do fine with my lite work out of 20 minutes, if you stay on the bag longer you may need 2 pairs.

Customer Rating: Summary: Not Usefull Comment: If you need impact protection (e.g. for heavy bag work) these provide no protection - you need to wrap your hands, preferably with long pro style hand wraps and use 14 oz or heavier gloves. For hand protection you may also want to look into using knuckle guards for use with wraps - but the guards are not appropriate for sparring use.
Wraps provide structural support for the entire hand and wrist.
These gloves do not.
Cheers, Erik
