The ASICS® GEL-Dirt Diva™ racing shoe is a top line performance cross country racer for the female athlete who demands lightweight, comfort, and traction on all types of terrain. Women's specific fit to meet the requirements of the female athlete. Lightweight mesh upper is breathable for excellent water release. Integrated lacing system wraps the upper snugly and comfortably around the foot. Full length SpEVA® midsole provides excellent response and plush feel during races. Summary: Great racing shoe for the price!
Comment: These are excellent shoes for cross-country racing and the rubber outersole gives good traction with or without spikes. The Asics Gel midsole offers good cushioning for middle and long distance runners. It seems that other people that bought this shoe thought it was a running shoe and not a racing/track shoe for use with metal spikes. Lightweight, well cushioned, great traction and an overall excellent value.

Summary: Size makes a difference
Comment: If you are buying the ASICS® Women's GEL-Dirt Diva beware that the sizing is off. I wear an 8.5-9 in women's shoes, and ordered the latter of the two. I wish that I would have gotten a size 9.5 or 10 even. The shoes were EXTREMELY snug fitting. They are small little shoes, not like your average tennis shoes. They also include metal screw-in spikes, which means little metal holes on the bottoms of the shoes, kind of awkward for everyday wear. They are cute, but I can't wear mine because of the size. Please, I read the reviews about the size before ordering my shoes and really should have paid attention. I thought that ordering a 9 would be enough, but I should have went a full size larger than normal.

Summary: sizes confused
Comment: Asics Gel Dirt Diva shoes are sized completelely wrong. I ordered a 5.5 because all my other Asics size 6 are too big. These fit more like a girls size 2...completely unwearable.

Summary: Sized for kids!
Comment: I normally were an 8 so I purchased an 8 1/2 just to be on the safe side. When they arrived and I tried them on, I felt as if I had tried to put on a pair of my daughter's shoes. They run extremely small! I couldn't fit my foot in the shoe without curling my toes under. I returned them for a refund. (Less refund postage that is not covered by the company!)

Summary: Size don't match
Comment: I ordered 8,5 to my wife who is really an 8 but it was still to small. So if you are 8 you should ask for a 9. Pretty and good shoe but it doesn't fit and this is very important when you order it from another country.
