Customer Rating: Summary: Good Experience purchasing golf balls Comment: I was pleased with the purchase of two dozen Titleist NXT Tour golf balls. The product arrived in a timely manner and were in good shape.

Comment: Almost a Pro V1, just half the price and one less layer, but it really is a superior ball because the Tour version isn't error correcting. Most golf balls are designed to actually straighten out if mis hit with excessive side spin.
Don't ask me how it works, I can't explain it but I've read numerous articles that explain how and you can find them too.
The Tour version is two layer ball, the NXT Extreme (formerly just NXT) is a single core ball.
Golf pros have the ability to power fade or draw golf shots around dog legs, this can be accomplished with a combination of wrist and elbow position at impact and changes in stance. When using a mainstream golf ball like a Pinnacle or or even a TopFlite, the ball will straighten out.
If you are inconsistent in your swing than you should avoid the NXT Tour and stick with the NXT (NXT Extreme). Either way, they won't cost as much as a Pro v1.
Customer Rating: Summary: A much cheaper alternative to the Pro-V1 Comment: Many people jokingly refer to the Titleist NTX as the "Pro V1 jr." or the poor man's Pro V1. There's a reason for this. While these balls are inferior to the Pro V1 they are still excellent balls, and live up well to the Titleist name. While I'd rather play a Pro V1 I recognize my golf game is not good enough to make a noticeable difference between that ball and the NXT, and so I use these more often. When I play these balls I feel I'm getting an excellent value, especially over many of the other, cheaper golf balls on the market that are not as enjoyable to play.
Overall this is a great ball, but make sure you don't overpay for them. In my experience you can get a box of these balls for half the cost of the Pro V1s--maybe even a bit less.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Ball - but not at this price! Comment: The NXT golf balls are great for those that shoot in the 80's. You don't get the same feel or control that a ProV1 offers, but if you shoot in the 80's you likely don't have the ability to warant it. I give the ball 5 stars, but the Amazon price one star. So the average is 3. NXT balls can be found at local sporting good stores as well as online for $27 or less.
