    Summary: Sound Card Issues
    Comment: For all of you saying that you have to use the USB sound card provided, you are mistaken. You can alternatively use any other M-Audio sound card. I run this program with the M-Audio Firewire 410 and it works brilliantly.

    I own Pro Tools 7.4, Reason, Sonar, Nuendo, Cubase, Goldwave and even Fruity Loops, and I must say that I love M-Audio Session for what it is. The natural and clean sound quality of specifically the drum loops makes this well worth the $50 (and then some). I can make unique sounding drum loops in M-Audio Session, and then export them one at a time (by soloing each track during their individual export). Then I can import all of the tracks all at once into Pro Tools 7.4 to edit the separated tracks further. Once in Pro Tools I can add my own natural instrumentation. I have made one song so far, and I love the results.

    I can't believe this was only $50 (and now it is $30 on this site). Overall, I highly recommend this product.

    Comment: Not only did this program prove to be a lame at best excuse for garageband, but it sucked as a program. It was slow and hard to interact and develop songs with. The worst thing about it is that you can't use your own computer audio setup, you have to use their weird USB gizmo that screws up your latency settings causing disgusting noise to blare through your speakers or headphones. This program proved to be a waste of money and a frustrating headache. If you are a garageband enthusiast DO NOT BUY THIS PROGRAM. Suck it up and learn how to use Propellerhead Studio's Reason, its well worth the money!
