One of the most renowned and continually relevant Hip-Hop emcees of all time, GZA returns with his fifth solo album, Pro Tools. GZA is an original member of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan. GZA has established himself as a perennial force in Hip-Hop, having amassed sales of over 1.5 million units in his 13+ year solo career. GZA's contributions have driven the phenomenal success of the 2008 Wu-Tang Clan reunion album "8 Diagrams" as well as two of independent Hip Hop's flagship releases: "Think Differently Music: Wu-Tang Meets The Indie Culture" and the DJ Muggz/GZA collaboration "Grandmasters" (both having scanned close to 60,000+ units to date). After a summer 2007 headlining stint with the Wu-Tang Clan via the renowned 'Rock The Bells' tour, GZA is hitting the road throughout 2008 on the 'Liquid Swords' tour which touches down in over 20 markets. With an entrenched and rabidly loyal fan base, Pro Tools marks the long awaited return of one of Hip-Hop's most revered and respected emcees.

Customer Rating: Summary: Worth the Money Comment: Great album. As always GZA does not disappoint. Lyrics are top notch and production is quite good. Only complaint is that GZA does not seem to be enthusiastic enough on a few cuts. Naturally his flow has always been laid back, but a few of these tracks are more spoken word than rap. Maybe that what he was aiming for, but we want to buy a hip hop album, not a New York poetry jam. Regardless, this album is a breath of fresh air in an industry that has been going stale as of late. Support real hip hop; support GZA. The Genius spits knowledge!
Customer Rating: Summary: The Wu Saga Continues!!!!!!!!!!! Comment: I just want to keep it simple. The GZA, one of the stongest mcs in the Wu, is back with sharp and precise lyrics! The beats are solid like titanium! Do yourself a favor and pick it up as soon as possible!
Customer Rating: Summary: Amazing CD Comment: This is one of the beter CD's ive heard in a while, beter than the newest wu tang cd. and much beter from top to bottom then the newest rza and ghost face discs. My personal favorite is pencil rza just tears that song beter than anything on his digi snacks cd, every track is good though. if your a fan of real rap music and are looking for a little more than a ringtone beat and a repetive chorus than you must buy this cd
Customer Rating: Summary: Classic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Comment: This album is classic the beats are creative and the rhymes are the best I have heard from any wu-tang member. This album flows nicely and has all the components of a true hip hop album. GZA does not dissapoint with most of his albums above average this is the best one yet. It just sounds fresh and unique no gimmicks or played out ideas. All the songs have concepts. the first song "pencil" gets you into lyric mode and the songs just get more into detail of there respective topics. The choruses are all on point catchy yet complex. There is also a live performance song "elastic audio" which add to the variety of the album. Overall the album has no major faults a solid 9.5/10 Classic!!!!!!!!!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Hip Hop vintage Comment: This is Hip Hop finest hour. No doubt a breath of fresh air from the air pollution that has been saturating the air waves. The GZA comes with his usual unorthodox flow and uncanny delivery (0% finance). He even steps outside of his normal zone and go after 50 (Paper Plates). He held it down nonetheless. 7 pounds is by far the hottest joint on the album. There are several mediocre joints and the lackluster RZA produced Pencil ft. Master Killa, which prevents the album from being a solid 5. However. Joints like Alphabets, Fire House, and Path of Destruction makes Pro Tools a solid buy.
