Made from our specially engineered SmartPotteryTM ceramic, our PlantNanny Plant Care Set helps plants stay healthier by releasing water into the center of the soil mass as it is needed. This optimal watering system prevents the plant roots from drying out. Pots and containers stay more uniformly moist.
Easy to Use
Simply insert a Plant Nanny stake into the soil near the plant. After filling a globe hold a finger over the end to seal it. Turn the globe over and release it as you set it in the stake. Plants roots will grow around the stake and use water more efficiently. The water level will be visible through the glass so you will know when to water.

Summary: Practical and great looking
Comment: I bought these for my mother-in-law for Christmas and she loves them! The colors are great and subtle and the plants are really thriving! In fact she wants me to purchase another set.

Summary: Look like ice cream cones and make you feel almost as good!
Comment: I was torn between the colorful 'aqua globes' as seen on TV and these. These were more expensive but obviously bigger. I opted for these and am so glad I did. Right after I received these, a friend gave me the aqua globes as a gift.
I like these much better for several reasons.... They hold more water, the stem stays in the dirt so you are not constantly making new holes as well as not plugging up the hole with dirt as you push it down, it is easy to see when more water is needed and it is much easier to fill just the globe (which has a much bigger hole.) The stem supports the globe so it stays straight and does not lean over like the taller aqua globes.
While the water does not seem to last as long as they say it will, my plants are thriving and have never looked better.
These are not as pretty as the aqua globes, but seem to disappear rather than stand out in my plants.... which I like.
Give 'em a try.... they are worth the extra money.

Summary: No more overwatering!
Comment: A product that does what it says! My wife no longer kills our plants by over watering and we can go away on vacation without worrying about having someone come in to water them. They look good with the plants too. This product is so much better than aqua globes. The aqua globe was difficult to fill. These are simple to fill, no mess. The aqua globe didn't even water the plant, the stem got clogged with dirt and the water didn't seep through the dirt at all. The Plant Nannies work great, one refill lasts about 7-10 days, and the plants stay alive!

Comment: I have some other plant nannies, but wanted a couple that were a little nicer looking for the plants that were to come inside for the winter. These look great and work just as well for keeping my plants from withering away.

Summary: Perfect watering with ease
Comment: I really like these. I had bought some of the "as seen on TV" one, but these are MUCH better. You can easily see when the water is gone in the globe and you can easily add more without punching a new hole in the ground. Once the stake is in the dirt IT stays in place and you just remove the top for easy filling.
I bought a second set -- and am considering a third!!
