Customer Rating: Summary: Great product! Comment: My 7 year old loves to draw! To see his pictures on the computer screen is so much fun for him!!!!!! He can even create his own book! I highly recommend this product!!
Customer Rating: Summary: not sure why this toy has gotten such bad reviews...but my son loves it. Comment: My son saw a picture of this in a toy catalog before Christmas and he immediately started asking for it for Christmas. We bought it for him as a Santa gift and HE LOVES IT. We didn't have any trouble installing it or getting it to work. We actually have installed it and used it on my husband's desktop computer and on my lap top. My son is 3 1/2 years old and he has no trouble using the tools. My son is pretty computer savvy (his dad is a network engineer...AKA computer nerd). As soon we got the device hooked up to the computer, my son got right on and started exploring. He can play on it for long periods of time, independently. We don't have it hooked up to a printer, right now, but my son is happy to just explore with the art tools and to make pictures on the computer. I would totally recommend this for any child who loves computer activities. We haven't experienced any difficulties with the device.
Customer Rating: Summary: To many problems! Comment: We had a little problem installing this. My computer exceeds the requirements and we have XP on there. It finally did install but many of the features do not work. Like the fill (paint) for example.
We also put this on my daughters computer for her kids and got the same problem. Tech support said they were having a lot of complaints about the same things we were having problems with and they didn't know a "fix".
It is not very kid friendly at all. I bought this for a 7 yr old and the cool school for the 4 yr old. They both love the cool school so I will take this back and exchange it for another cool school instead.
Customer Rating: Summary: wish it would work on my computer Comment: I bought 2 of these on sale, one for my son and one for my niece. I had nothing but problems with the one for my son and spent 3 days on the phone with tech support who were fantastic by the way. But could not get this product to work on my computer without freezing even after re-downloading to my computer.
My nieces on the other hand has worked beautifully from day one and she and her parents love it!
Customer Rating: Summary: Hours of fun Comment: I am not really sure why there are so many bad reviews but I installed this just fine. I had a glitch at first but realized it was my error. I didn't read the instructions completely before trying to start the system but once I did, it was fine. My daughter hopped on and started creating and painting and drawing! She loves it and I do too. It came with the Dinosaurs and Barbie Fairytopia software and it is preloaded with a ton of activities. Well worth the money!
