Customer Rating: Summary: Adequate Comment: I read reviews before I bought this product and am fairly satisfied with it. The sound quality is good, but you do have to make sure the inline mic is in the right position or others can't hear you very well. I think it's just been a little hard to get used to using an earpiece.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not bad for jogging Comment: I use it alot while jogging outside. I can hear very well. Stays in my ear fine. Speaking is still not great - need to position little speaker close to my mouth which is not that easy to get it there and make it stay there. I think there is another version with a plastic piece positioning microphone. Maybe that is better. Also, missing is a button on the microphone or somewhere to hangup/answer phone/wake up phone for voice command.
Customer Rating: Summary: Close, but no cigar! Comment: I have been searching for the perfect headset and thought this might be the one - excellent fit (in-ear), comfortable, great sound quality, I never had to ask someone to repeat anything.
Now the bad - poor mic sound, people always told me I sounded far away, but when I picked up the inline mic and put it closer to my mouth all was fine.
I returned my set with great hesitance, while my listening experience was enhanced there is no point to a hands free headset when you have to keep hold the mic close to your mouth.
I will add this might be a defective headset and I am considering ordering the SHURE with the boom stick.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Sound & Stays Put Comment: This headset sounds great to both me and those on the other side of the conversation. My biggest complaint about many headsets out there is how tinny they sound - and how uncomfortable a long conversation can be. Not so with this headset, which is no surprise with the Shure name. I also previously owned an Etymotic which sounded great but didn't tend to stay put in my ear. After I broke a wire in the cable on that one, I went looking for an equally great-sounding but better-fitting replacement. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
Customer Rating: Summary: wasted my money Comment: I thought I was going to like this headset. I didn't even mind paying this much, with it being SHURE and all... However, turns out this wasn't such a sure thing. Most of the time people can't hear me. Even when I adjust the mic location. I thought maybe I just got a defective one.... Most everyone else seems to like it.
