Customer Rating: Summary: versatile jacket Comment: very light versatile jacket. rain just beads right off & windproof as well.not to mention it looks good with jeans too.
Customer Rating: Summary: Clima-Proof-- not a sweat box Comment: I am very pleased with this product. I have several old pairs of sweats that were made of nylon. They were never comfortable, and I was always hot. This seems to breath, yet beat the weather. The matching pants are the same. Yes, the size does run large. However, I like that for active events that require me to be able to move about- speedbag work, weight lifting, spinning, nordic trak, etc. If you want form fittting, pick something else. If you just want to be comfortable while you work out, or relax- this is great.
Customer Rating: Summary: A bit pricey and short on features Comment: I bought this jacket for $38 on sale at another vendor and ended up returning it. Even at that price, it was not a good value. The styling was decent (I'm an Adidas fan, I wear their gear for soccer and sportswear) but two things bugged me: 1) This coat ran very large. I am a 42R, 6'1 and 185 lbs. I normally wear a large in jackets and sportswear. The large in this was absolutely colossal. I'd need a copious beer belly to fill it out, plus the length and arms were huge as well. I tried a medium, and it did fit better but was a tad short in the arms and somehow they were still expecting me to have a gut, albeit a smaller one. Maybe Americans have gotten so obese that this is the way all clothes are designed now (including the rampant cheating on women's sizes)...but it's annoying when shopping for athletic wear. Does anyone design for ATHLETES and non-obese people anymore?
The second thing that fell short on this jacket was features. For $50 retail it either ought to fit right or have adjustments for making it so. There is no drawcord anywhere on this jacket so you're left billowing in the wind (if you don't possess a paunch). And wind protection is practically nil as the material is almost paper thin with no lining. This coat is fine in 60ºF and up conditions, and in those...who needs a coat? Priced at $20-$25 retail, I'd give it three or four stars. Sorry, Adidas.
