Summary: Excellent checker set
Comment: Well made, good colors will alleviate eye strain during games. Best looking checker set I have ever seen. I sprayed my pieces and board with Satin Varathane for additional wear protection. Get the book, "Win at Checkers" by Millard Hopper (publ by Dover Press) for strategy tips.

Summary: Great Classroom Game
Comment: I use to purchase cardboard checker games for my classroom, but found I had to replace them year after year. We've had this set for the past two years, and it looks almost new. My students gravitate to this game and have tournaments at lunch time. Truly a high quality checker set that would make a nice gift as well
