Comment: I sent this watch back for the pathfinder, which is very similar to this one. If you don't mind a bulky watch, these are built like a tank and automatically set themselves and charge off the sun. Put it on and forget about it.

Summary: No Shock
Comment: It was no shock that my new g shock gw9000A-1 Mudman quickly became a favorite. I now own three g shocks, and this is the prize of the bunch. I love how it looks on the wrist. I was skeptical about it's bulky appearance while shopping online, but once on my wrist, it seems to be actually very form fitting. It's a beast, no doubt, but not the hockey puck I expected.
My only disappointments so far: In relation to the strap, the loop is too loose on mine, and slides up and down the strap all the time. The other thing is the illumination only lasts just long enough for me to get a quick glance at the screen. I usually have to press it again w/ more attention. Maybe this wouldn't bother most people, I just wish it would stay lit for another second or two. These things are annoying, but are minor defect that don't keep me from loving this tank in watch form.
In my line of work, I need a watch that can take a beating, and not miss a tick. This is my on-duty choice everyday! It looks pretty tough, and is a purchase that will be well worth the money over the next few decades! With atomic battery, radio timekeeping, and calendar up to 2099, this watch will outlive us all! Buy this watch! Amazon was the cheapest I could find. Hope this helps!

Comment: Just received this watch today from Amazon, it was the lowest price I could find on the net or even ebay.
First, I usually don't write reviews on items I've had only one day, but I'll make an exception here because as soon as I put it on it answered several questions and maybe it will help another customer decide if this watch is for them.
This is NOT an overly huge watch, in my opinion it was just right! I have several big watches, and definitely a lot heavier ones, and I can tell that I will be wearing this one more than any other watch I have. BUT, it's not just because of the size or weight I say this, it's because this watch is VERY COMFORTABLE to wear. More so than I thought it would be.
I had it set within several minutes, just follow the directions in the booklet and BAM you've got atomic time accuracy, just like that!
And yes, I'll agree with some reviewers here and agree that the buttons are a little tough to push, but this is a minor incovenience, and shouldn't disuade someone from buying it. Please guys, stop whining and work on your finger strength.
You don't have to worry about batteries, having the wrong time, or wearing an uncomfortable watch, you can't go wrong here.

Summary: BE CAREFUL WITH CASIO
Comment: I have had a Casio watch for about a year and now the watchband needs replaced. I was informed by Walmart that they cannot replace a Casio watchband. I called Casio and they told me that as far as they know NO CASIO WATCHBAND CAN BE REPLACED BY A NORMAL WATCHBAND! I had to order a watchband from Casio and they had to know which model it was before I ordered it. Total price: $12.00 shipping, handling and sales tax included. I then asked the representative if instructions would be included because it was a different type of setup instead of pins. HE SAID THAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO RECOMMEND TAKING THE BAND TO A JEWELER TO HAVE IT PUT ON!! PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS AS BANDS DO NOT LAST FOREVER!!
