Summary: Just Clean Fun for young kids
Comment: My twin boys received a product similiar to this one for a gift earlier this year and just plain wore it out. I figured I would try out this brand as a replacement. It seemed to me a great buy. My boys stomped til they couldnt stomp anymore the first day and it seems to have held up great. The only problem i see is that you have to use zip ties to hold the tube straight up and one to hold the legs in place. That was cheap and simple to fix and it is working great. The toy is a great buy but just remember the zip ties and you will have no problems.

Comment: I've been using this in my physics classes for 5 or 6 years. You can attach a protractor where the launch tube meets the air hose and set specific angles. Then get kids to time the flight, and others to measure distances and you can actually get data for some calculations. Demonstrate the projectile motions concepts. Do your launching on a football field to get easy distances.

Comment: Really fun toy! The plastic rockets break easily though. I prefer the foam rockets that come with the original Stomp Rocket instead.

Comment: I bought this toy after our extended family (kids ages 2-20) enjoyed playing with the one that was in the condo we rented on the beach. That one had clearly been played with a lot and was still in good shape. Haven't had the opportunity to use ours yet, but I expect the same results. You do want to have a good sized open area to play with it as even our youngest one was able to stomp it hard enough to make it go a distance. Like nearly any toy, it could be dangerous if misused...you don't want to be launching the rockets right at someone or looking right into one when it launches, but even if you did it would likely hurt but not cause serious injury.
