All the other helmets that we own (even those comparably priced) do have one, so I mistakenly assumed that's a standard feature nowadays. Customer Rating: Summary: Grandson Loved It Comment: My grandsons go through helmets about once a year so I've been replacing them at Christmastime. I have trouble with sizes every year. This one was a perfect and comfortable fit with the additional pads for my soon-to-be nine year old. I also bought the Bell Blade Youth Bike Helmet for my soon-to-be six year old and the Bell Child Bike Helmet and Elbow/Knee Pad Value Pack for my soon-to-be four year old and they also were perfect fits.
