Customer Rating: Summary: Superb blunder. Comment: The item arrived early, was in great condition, had a great foam grip, good weight, and was quite effective as a weapon. I used it mainly for exercise, swinging it like practicing shadow swordplay (Great for cardio). After a few weeks, without notice, the smallest section pops off. I tried to put it back in, but now the section it retracts into directly is stretched, therefore it does not hold onto the thrown section. Albeit I may have been a bit rough, or used it too frequently, it may have been too quick of temperature variations, I dont know. I will try and return it, and if not accepted, I will try to repair it myself, at which time if I have no luck, it is now a shortened baton.
Customer Rating: Summary: impossible to collapse Comment: After I extended this baton, I could not close it! and I tried everything. The problem is that if it gets stuck and you cannot close it, you cant even send it back. If it did close properly, however, it would be a good quality baton.
Customer Rating: Summary: Baton Comment: Quick shipping - was faster than estimated delivery. Vendor was polite and accurrate. Would buy from again.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good product... Comment: Serves the same purpose as the one that is twice the price. Good quality, fast shipping. Thanks!
Customer Rating: Summary: This is a very nice baton! Comment: This is a very nice baton! It is very good quality. It comes with a sheath, but it will also fit in a normal-sized pocket. Compacted it is a foam rubber handle that is 8 1/8 inches long. With a flick of your wrist, you have a 21 1/4 inch long sturdy, steel rod that's good for whacking the ever-loving bejeezus out of pretty much anything that doesn't have a handgun. I got it for my wife for when she goes jogging on mostly deserted nature trails.
When expanded, the pieces lock together pretty tight, so you'll need to jam it really hard in to a cement surface to compact it.
