The Jacket also comes with a Zipper and wind flap with Velcro closure, two front patch pockets and two button adjustable waist tabs. Other features include Triple stitched main seams, split back with bi-swing, pleated elbow, rib-knit storm cuff in sleeve. Micro-sanded, then garment-washed for soft hand. Customer Rating: Summary: Warm and Sturdy Jacket Comment: Purchased this jacket a couple of weeks ago, and it has kept me warm during the first couple of snowstorms of the 2008-09 winter season. The jacket was a bit stiff at first, but that improved after several wearings. I also purchased the Arctic Sandstone Hood along with the jacket, and worn it a couple of times when spending extended lengths of times outside.
The external pockets do not have zippers, and thus not good for storage of keys, sunglasses, etc. Inside the jacket there are two pockets, and one of them is zippered. Customer Rating: Summary: Very warm and tough jacket Comment: This Carhartt is what you're looking for. It is very durable and the artic quilt lining will keep you warm. If you are 6 feet or taller I recommend getting the tall, if not you should be okay with the regular. I really like the ribbed cuffs around your wrists that are hidden so cold air is not allowed up through the sleeve. Really a quality product.
