Customer Rating: Summary: time to switch to silicone... Comment: The latex caps were fine five years ago, but now they have the silicone caps, which are stretchier and easier to get on. I've found that the latex caps also discolor more, break easier, and tend to stick together if one forgets to rinse thoroughly after practice. All in all, it's better to invest a few extra dollars in a silicone one.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good Swim Cap---Bad...... Comment: This is a great bargain and works well, However, I had some trouble in getting it in a timely manner, and "I" had to be the one to communicate with Swimm2000 to find out what the hold up was, I called them and it was "their" supplier taking inventory and that was the delay. This was after the arrival date given. I did feel it was their responsibility to contact customers of the delay, I understand they have many products from many suppliers, but their system should have had a red flag approach when an Item is NOT available to them and an email should sent to the coustomer. That would have spared me a lot of trouble, because Amazon didnt have any idea of the delay, Amazon's "tracking" says I should get it at a certain time weather you do or not. The product is good, and hopefully the companies reason for their delay was a truthful one....Just be prepared to wait sometimes when it comes to Swim2000, also when it was sent according to their tracking it still took a week to travel from Nevada to Texas, I was beginning to wonder if it was coming by way of pony express. I know the U.S. mail is slow but, it still didn't arrive when it was scheduled. I don't believe I will do business with Swim2000 again, there are other swim product companies out there. I really don't believe it left Nevada for days, I was tracking it and it stayed there for 6 days before it was finally scanned in Ft Worth, makes you wonder..... All Items I have ordered through Amazon in the past arrived quickly within a few days, so it was Swim2000, So beware.
