Customer Rating: Summary: Beats Falling on the Ice Comment: This wonderful invention allows me to live in a cold climate and stay upright, mostly a problem on ice... and some types of snow. I have lived in warm climates my whole life and was very unfamiliar with freezing tempatures. I put these on and mostly defy ice/snowy conditions. My pair has lasted me three seasons and show no sign of wear. I have recommended these to dozens of people and will continue to do so. Under no circumstances can you or should you wear them inside on almost any type of indoor flooring. You will likely fall (nothing for them to grip onto) if you ignore this advice, trust me, I did while entering a Safeway. Also, they will scratch wood & laminate flooring (probably others as well).
