Summary: Good portable back support
Comment: I purchased this product after reading Dr. McKenzie's book, 7 steps to a pain free life. I use it in the car and in my home, and it really helps with lower back support. The only drawback seems to be that after prolonged use, it becomes flattened and tends to lose some of its support. It does spring back to it's round shape over time. Perhaps the extra firm model would be better in retaining its shape.

Comment: This product took some getting used to. I use it in my car. I find that it works but it seems to lose it's firmness so, I have to reach behind my back while I'm driving and rotate it. It's an okay product. I feel better after using it on a long drive.

Comment: Only thing about this product is the cheap price. I have not thought it is a kind of simple sponge. You cannot consider a piece of sponge as a lumber support.

Comment: i use it around the house.it can strap on, so when you move about the house and return to your chair,you're ready.i feel that it has helped me sit straighter.it didn't take much to get used to it.it is comfortable.easy to adjust.

Summary: McKenzie lumbar roll review - I like it
Comment: Slightly larger than a Pringles potatoe chip can, it really helps my lower back while sitting for long periods in my office. I ordered the McKenzie super lumbar roll too and I use that one in my car. It's slightly smaller but is more firm and gives more support. I'm happy with both. If your chair has more cushion, you probably would want the super roll.
