Summary: such a great find
Comment: i saw these shoes in a magazine a while back and had been very interested in them. i went around to shoe stores and websites without any luck. then for one reason or another i remembered i had amazon... and there they were!
so needless to saw i was brimming with anticipation as i opened that box, i was really setting myself up to be horribly disappointed. thankfully
though these milk chocolate shoes lived up to my lofty expectations to the fullest.
the first thing you'll notice is that they are incredibly comfortable, both when up or down. they don't really lace up tight as boots but they definitely stay put when they are laced up. the shearling liner does a good job of keeping my feet and toes warm in the snow, and feet don't overheat if you're walking around either so they're good for everyday use in my book.[i don't know if they're waterproof i haven't had any leaks or anything.]
They appear to be, at this point, very well made any are still flawless after almost a month of near daily use. the shearling actually cleans up much better than i had expected. i was watching my baby cousin when he decided to throw up on my shoe. got it right on the tongue(they were folded down atm). just a little soap on a damp cloth and i was good. the leather features also clean easily.
I haven't tried skating in them, as there's like two feet of snow outside right now, but hey, you can't win em all.
So, in review...
They're comfortable no matter where you are or what you're standing in.
They look good, to bad they don't make masks, right?
They're awesome, even if you're not.
