Summary: Stock Car Fans Take Note
Comment: NASCAR is covered here, but so are the little guys on the short tracks and dirt tracks. The guys doing it for the love, and not the money. Sure, the big dogs are covered, too, but so are tech tips, the finances, and history of racing.
From fantastic interviews to opinion pieces to columns by NASCAR's biggest names (which are usually the worst things in this magazine), this is a must-have for stock car fans and racing fans in general.
I've been a subscriber for years, and they have yet to miss an issue. Well worth the money, and definitely worth your time.

Summary: Speedway Illustrated --The only way to go !!
Comment: Dick Berggren does a fantastic job of covering all levels of racing. He features local short track racing along w/ Nascar headlines. The writing is balanced unlike many of the NASCAR propaganda magazines that only tell you what they want you to hear. I highly recommend this magazine to any race fan out there!!

Summary: A Racer's Magazine- not NASCAR's
Comment: This automotive sports magazine is written with the Racing Fan in mind. But not the Sunday-only Nextel Fan. If you are interested in the latest happenings across the country on tiny and huge tracks, inside the car that you race at your local track, and some fantastic photography- pick this up. My husband and I fight over every issue.

Comment: I have thoroughly enjoyed every issue of Speedway Illustrated which I purchased. There are good interviews, great pictures, and a layout which makes for easy reading.
