The Tri-Berry actually tastes really great, and the caffeine is great to keep you going. I have found that if I take 1/2 packet at a time it is just enough to give me a burst of energy but not let me crash. I use them for 10 miles or more, generally about every 5 miles thereafter. Comment: I had absolutely no intention of buying any GU Energy Gel the day I signed on to look up what all the GU emblems stood for on the football helmets and football fields. Well now I know that it was in honor of hall of famer Gene Upshaw who passed away in August. But I also found this stuff, read about it, read the reviews and ordered some. It is GREAT...what an unexpected discovery! It tastes good and it actually DOES give me a burst without drinking a lot of coffee and having to pee! LOVE IT!!
