Summary: Fun, albeit troublesome, deceiving and unpredictable
Comment: I bought this item at a much lower price at a national retailer (Wal-mart). I had purchased it b/c the packaging made it look like it was much larger than it is. The orange "things" that are supposed to hold the sprinkler down are worthless. They are manufactured to open. Why? I don't know. But it is quite a hassle to keep them closed and stabilized on the ground. The "hose" that runs through these "orange things" can be slightly twisted in order to keep the sprinklers that wiggle sprinkling in the direction you want them to sprinkle, usually up. But you do have to "mess" with it each time you set it up and sometimes during play, so make sure you don't mind getting wet along with your kiddos when you turn it on. :) It is fun, once you get the "kinks" worked out.

Summary: I returned it to the store
Comment: I purchased this last week and have already returned it. There is no way to keep the sprinkler spouts straight up or angled. Some of them shoot right into the grass, not up or at an angle. If there was some kind of weight to keep the main tube flat to the ground, I think it would work a lot better. I don't agree with the age recommendation of 5+. I think 4 and under is more precise.

Comment: We just got ours, but our kids love it. It is smaller than pictured, but is actually pretty long and sprays water over 15 feet at least. Our daughter who doesn't like most sprinklers loves this one because it allows her to get pretty close and not get drenched, but if you really want to get really we you still can. Highly recommended.

Summary: Lots of Fun
Comment: My son just received this for his 3rd birthday. Since we live in Florida, he has already been able to use it this year. The picture on the website and package is a bit deceiving------it is not nearly as long as they try to make it appear. Nonetheless, my son loves this and is having a great time with it. Also, package indicated that this is for ages 5 and up. Maybe there is a slight possibility of a choking hazard if one of the small pieces were to come off, but I think this is highly unlikely. I think this is perfect for a 3 year old or even younger. Also, super easy to set up and put away when not in use.
