Comment: I bought a sling shot to launch fishing line over tree tops, and use that as a means of stringing an antenna high in the air (it's a Ham radio thing).
The reality is that stress, ozone, UV, and lots of other things that we take for granted tend to kill the kind of rubber used in a sling shot in fairly short order. The Saunders product is inexpensive, and makes my aerial launching Wrist Rocket even better than new when the old bands have seen better days. Considering their power and reliability, they are cheap, top notch, and made in the USA.
They get my vote.
