The Fitness Quest Edge 491 Exercise Bike features a large console with drink holder, towel rack and motivational electronics to keep you going, and a fitness computer that tracks your time, speed, distance, pulse, and approximate calories burned. The bike features 12 built-in programs including two for heart rate control; friction-free magnetic resistance that provides a smooth and quiet ride; and eight levels of resistance and tension that can be changed at the touch of a button. The handlebars provide a variety of gripping positions for maximum comfort, and the oversized foot pedals with straps allow for ease of use. The large cushioned seat with back support offers maximum comfort and is adjustable for different body heights. User weight capacity is 250 lbs.

Customer Rating: Summary: Lot of style but little substance Comment: Initially the bike performed well as it has lots of extras like ergonomic design, comfortable seat and good program selection. But after less than five months of operation, the bike started to make grinding noise. After contacting the Fitness Quest, I was informed that warranty lasts only 90 days and any repair will have to be done by me after buying the requisite parts.
Based on my experience, I have to say this product is shabbily engineered and built. I would strongly advise against buying this product. I do 90 minutes and WANT to do more since it is very comfortable and you CAN feel the areas where you working out and it is great. It even slims up your waistline too!

Unfortunately mine developed the annoying sounds after the unit was out of warranty. Its a shame because the seat/quality of construction is fine. Obviously this company needs to focus less on flash and more on solid engineering because I'm now stuck with this noisy, annoying problem.
I would not recommend this Fitness Quest product because of this. Customer Rating: Summary: Love It! Comment: My chiropractor suggested this exercise bike because she believed it would help me strengthen my hip area and lose weight without putting too much strain on my body, while she's helping put my hip back in its proper place. She suggested this bike because it's ergonomically correct, the seat is wide, and it offers several levels of work-out which allows me to grow at my own pace and still get a challenge. According to my husband it was easy to put together. It's definitely easy to use and quite comfortable. Now all I have to do is commit to using it on a daily basis!
