i bought this only after watching the first season online and this show is outstanding! def. buy from amazon; they did a great job of getting it here to me fast. so, yea, def. order it!

Summary: A Worthwhile Buffy Purchase
Comment: To anyone thinking they might want to get this...THIS IS THE GOOD COLLECTION!!!!!! It took me a while to figure it out when I was looking. All seven seasons are included with special features, plus an episode guide and an extra DVD of the actors favorite episodes! The box is pretty sweet, the front drops open when you lift the lid and the seven seasons are stacked. (Added bonus for those of you who are proenvironment, this takes way less packaging.)The box is approximately as tall as a regular DVD case, and as wide as nine movie DVD cases, so it doesn't take up as much space as the individual seven seasons would. GET THIS COLLECTION!!!

Summary: If you love Buffy, You'll love this!
Comment: What could be better than Buffy in a box. All the seasons packed into one bloody box for your enjoyment. The only strange thing is the seasons are not uniform as far as menus go. They are the way they are in the original season box for each one. Besides that its all Buffy goodness. And for those of you skeptical about watching a tv show about vampires being slain, the show is more about the people than the slaying. Its a really great show!

Comment: If you've seen Buffy you know how amazing it will be to watch any episode whenever you want, and the extra disc lets you see the humor and personality of the people behind the scenes, making it all.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer is complex, and there are people who just don't understand having a girl named Buffy be something so dark and significant. There are so many everyday things, and other worldly things that are dealt with every episode. The character development is superb!! If you just give it a chance, watch with an open mind and you will be ....enchanted.
If you haven't see Buffy, this is really the best way to start, because once you start you won't want to stop and if you only have one season you'll get very depressed.Everything is beautifully put together there are special features that add many more hours of fun. Having the whole experience in one compact box is so convenient.

Summary: The best $190 I ever spent
Comment: I put off buying this collection for awhile. It's pretty expensive for an average Amazon purchase, so I argued that I just couldn't spend it. But, I'm a huge, huge fan of the show and I found out that I was spending more money and valuable places in my Netflix queue on Buffy episodes. So, I finally had enough one day and bought it. And I don't regret it at all.
Lots of other people have evaluated the show, so I'm not going to do that. What I am going to do if give you an idea of what to expect in the actual collection.
The pictures are accurate: it's a boxed set with all seven seasons forming one Buffy cast shot. The same extras that come on the individual seasons are included on their original discs. But, as a bonus, you get a booklet with an episode-by-episode breakdown, a note from Joss, and an extra disc that has extras not released before this Collection.
The only downside to this collection is that the box is not particularly sturdy. I don't recommend leaving it open at any time. I only had my set a week and already the box lid is coming off because it was left open. It opens in a rather strange way, so the whole thing will collapse if it's not closed. So, construction is a little iffy, but not so bad that the set isn't worthwhile.
