Comment: Frozen food with 20 lbs of dry ice defrosted in 3 days. This was in 90 degree weather with the cooler kept in the shade. I was hoping for better.

Summary: Igloo 165 quart cooler
Comment: I bought this cooler 1 year ago. The first time I used it, one of the
latched cracked and broke. I should have called Igloo right away, but I put it off (my fault). We used it again for a Halloween party without incident. The third time we used it for a Memorial Day party, the other latch broke. I checked with Igloo, and they want $3.99 each for each latch, $5.95 shipping, and $4.00 for handling to replace two clearly defective pieces of small plastic. This cooler is good at keeping things cold, but due to the low quality and horrible design of the latches and hinges, and the over the top cost to correct the issue, I am sure I will never purchase another Igloo product. Note that this cooler has never left my house, all use has been at home, so the damage was not caused by transport.

Summary: THE BEST!!!!!
Comment: The max cold cooler is the best cooler I haved ever seen. I have a smaller version, but I am going to buy a much larger one very soon. I have never had a cooler that will actually freeze a bottle of water that is packed in ice. If something happened to this cooler I do not know what I would do, it is the best cooler on the market.

Summary: Nice but overpriced
Comment: The cooler is almost identical to the 60qt cooler with exception of a different lid which gives more internal clearance. You actually save money buying the 60qt and upgraded lid. This cooler would be more fairly priced at $39.99. Lastly, the colors are inconsistent. You may order it think it looks like the picture but it may be a very light blue instead of the dark one shown.
Besides all that, it's a good cooler, the 60-qt is just a much better deal.

Summary: Excellent!!
Comment: We purchased two of these for use at food expos. We added about 30lbs of dry ice to each then filled it with frozen cheesecakes. We were at the expo for an entire day and even with opening and closing the lids over and over, the dry ice did not disolve and all the cheesecakes remained frozen. I love it! and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a really good cooler. The price is reasonable and the capacity is just what we needed.
