The Robic SC606 combines the two most desired timing functions for sports training--a dual split stopwatch with an advanced countdown timer. The stopwatch features three timing modes--lap, split, and dual split--and has a memory recall of 30 previous readings in ascending or descending order. The multimode countdown timer has three modes--stop, auto-repeat, and count-up--and it has a 1/10 second precision. Other features include completion alarm at the conclusion of countdown time, display of current lap and split running times, and time of day, alarm, and calendar display. It's powered by a lithium CR-2025, which provides up to a 5-year battery life.

Comment: Does everything I need and more for my son's track meets.

I did break the plastic lens the first day by leaning into a tent post with it around my neck. Still works fine but just has a little visible crack in the plexiglass. My fault I suppose.

Comment: I got this to replace a broken Robic 800. It works fine for my application. I use it to time laps on road course Driver's Education events. It has adequate lap memory and is legible.

Comment: Having spent a great deal of time around race cars and tracks, it was obvious that Robic is the timer of choice for many racing professionals. In my role as a race official, I needed a stopwatch with a countdown feature and found the SC-606 to be very affordable, loaded with features, and easy to use.
