    Summary: BACKORDERED
Comment: This order was unfortunately not available. The seller could not give me a firm shipping date, so I cancelled the order. My payment was credited promptly and that is a good thing.

Summary: This is a FULL SET!!!
Comment: Someone before me wrote a review that said he needed to get a sand wedge as this set does not come with one. This is false I used that buyers review and before I received my order went ahead and bought the wedge putter combo (as it was only about $30) I received my order in a very prompt fashion. But was surprised when this was a FULL COMPLETE set. I have not had a chance to use them but again as other reviews point out the driver is NOT short... and neither am I. I am 5'11 and have been golfing for about 8 years and had absolutely no problems with any of the lengths. The grips all feel amazing as do the balance of the clubs. All clubs are meticulously wrapped (excessively so). The only real complaint I have with this set is the bag stand; when fully extended, sits fairly low. Other then that a great buy!!!

Summary: Nice clubs, a little short
Comment: I ordered these thru Amazon, after reading the reviews on Deep Reds on The Golf Warehouse's website. I wonder if those were a little misleading, because Wilson has been making different Deep Reds (fat shafts, for example).

Anyway, solid clubs, for sure, and I get great distance on my fareway shots with the hybrids. The driver is super-short, and when I inquired about exchanging it, I was SOL. Be aware that these clubs (and others) bought on Amazon simply cannot be returned to TGW, period. 30, 60 days, new, barely new, whatever, TGW won't take them back.

Summary: a great set of clubs for life long use
Comment: This is a surprisingly excellent set of clubs. I actually bought these as my first set. I was initially looking at less expensive sets, but I've seen friends' starter sets buckle under heavy use and wanted a set that would play well and last. So I gambled on these.

I discovered later that starter sets give you maybe a driver and a fairway wood, about five irons, and leave you stranded in the middle - no long irons or hybrids to compensate. Which means that starter sets are okay to learn the game with, but as your skill improves you really need to eventually upgrade in order to round out your options on the fairway.

This set has the full set of woods (5,3, and driver), irons (9,8,7,6,5), hybrids (4 and 3), a pitching wedge, and a putter. As my game improved, I learned to appreciate the full range of options that a complete set of clubs gives you. I've also been taking these to the driving range several times a week. The quality has really shown through as these clubs have really stood up to the high usage and abuse (I was digging trenches with my clubs when I was starting out).

As my swing improved, my accuracy and distance greatly improved. I've been able to consistently hit 250+ yards with the driver. The accuracy and distance of the clubs are surprisingly good. People watch me play and are constantly surprised I'm not using TaylorMade or Callaway.

As my game improved, I learned that I wanted more flexibility in my wedges. The pitching wedge dug me out of a few bunkers, but I found that I really needed a sand wedge, so I went ahead and bought the Deep Red wedge set as well (you can get them on Amazon). I really didn't use the lob wedge much initially, but the more I play the more I've been pulling that one out. The great thing about options is that you'll find yourself using them as opportunities present themselves.

Oh, I forgot to mention the bag. The stand works great, it deploys easily every time. I thought I'd have to upgrade the bag as bags that come with sets are often small or flimsy. This bag is high quality and durable, and surprisingly roomy. It not only handled the original set but my wedge set as well, and has enough pockets and room for all my tees, gloves, towels, and scope with room to spare.

So, to sum up, this is a surprisingly high quality set of clubs for the price. I've really come to love these clubs, which I initially viewed as just a starter set that I would move from as I improved. I'm glad I bypassed the less expensive starters and bought these. Because of the quality and accuracy, I've kept these much longer than I originally expected. Even if I upgrade someday, I'll keep these as my traveling set of clubs. The airlines lost my buddy's Pings, so I've learned not to put your best clubs through baggage check. Well, not until you can afford to buy another set, anyway.

Great clubs. If you want a very, very good set of clubs without burning a hole in your wallet, get these. If you buy a less expensive set, expect to upgrade very soon. This set of clubs, however, you can keep and play throughout your life.

Until you start approaching those single digit handicaps. You'll probably want to upgrade then.
