Comment: Great product. My daughter is a huge horse fan and just adored Barbaro. This beanie baby is almost the perfect likeness of it's namesake. I love that it gives statistics on the tag. I recommend this for any horse lover! Very durable product.
Also, great that some of the proceeds go to the Barbaro fund!!!!!

Comment: I ordered Ty's Barbaro Beanie Baby as a momento of the courageous Kentucky Derby winner. It was not purchased as a toy, but rather a keepsake. Very well done, down to the markings on the horse. I would recommend this item.

Summary: A Quality Product With Proceeds To Help In A Big Way
Comment: The Ty Beanie was produced with the plan that proceeds would benefit the University of Pennsylvania's New Bolton Center, where Barbaro received the medical care after his devastating injuries in the 2006 Preakness Stakes.
The Beanie is outstanding quality and carries the hologram of the Kentucky Derby due to the silks on the doll matching the ones used in the 2006 race, which Barbaro won in a stunning display of dominance rarely seen at that level of racing.
Roy and Gretchen Jackson have only licensed a few Barbaro items for sale - which was done when the champion was still hospitalized - with the caveat that proceeds from the sales be earmarked for the New Bolton Center.
The Ty Beanie is a quality product that will assist a facility dedicated to helping animals large & small. No matter how I read that "racing" form, it comes out a winner.
